Experimental platform CEPL

Members: Carine André (AI), Alain Ghio (IR), Thierry Legou (IR), C. Zielinski (IR)

The Centre for Speech and Language Experimentation (CEPL), part of the Speech and Language Laboratory, is a research platform dedicated to studying the processes of speech and language production, perception and comprehension in humans. It uses a variety of data collection and experimentation techniques, including recordings and behavioural, physiological and neurophysiological measurements.

The CEPL is structured around eight technical platforms, each managed by a supervisor. The manager of each platform is also responsible for the dedicated experimentation space. This responsibility includes:

• setting up experimental devices
• maintaining and renewing equipment
• renewing consumables
• complying with the regulatory framework
• implementing practical guides and training
