On 11 June, Kübra Bodur was awarded the 2025 thesis award by the Association Francophone de la Communication Parlée (AFCP). Each year, this prize recognises the quality of work carried out within the Association’s scientific remit.
Kübra wrote her thesis, entitled ‘Phonetic reduction in conversation: phonetic and discursive skills’, under the supervision of Christine Meunier (LPL) and Corinne Fredouille (Laboratoire d’Informatique d’Avignon, LIA), and defended it in October 2025.
She received the award at a ceremony during which she presented her work to all participants at the Journées d’Etudes sur la Parole (36th JEP) in Montpellier from 8 to 12 June. Our warmest congratulations!
