The year 2025 marked the kick-off of the "Le langage en commun" initiative, spearheaded by CNRS Sciences humaines & sociales to promote the language sciences. As part of this initiative, the virtual exhibition "Journey to the Centre of Language" was launched this summer, created collectively by a team of researchers and led by Ricardo Etxepare (IKER-CNRS) and Serge Pinto (LPL-CNRS). It features scientific content, images, sounds and interactive experiences designed to showcase the richness of research into language and its importance for a better understanding of the world.
