The SystUS (Systems, uses and societies) team aims to make progress in exploring the links between linguistic systems and language use, either by using corpus data to describe linguistic systems, or by comparing certain theoretical models with different documented uses. It is characterised by a strongly descriptive methodological approach and an interest in a wide variety of languages.
